Search the community and support articles Windows Windows 8. My windows laptop that I only recently purchasd has been having a cursor problem. Normally when I move my hand across the touchpad, the cursor on the screen will move. At first, it works and everything is going well but then soon it shows a loading sign next to the cursor and it then it stops working and is frozen in one place until I restart my laptop and then the problem occurs all over again.
